Surah 10. Yunus, Ayah 53
| ۞ وَيَسْتَنْبِئُونَكَ أَحَقٌّ هُوَ ۖ قُلْ إِي وَرَبِّي إِنَّهُ لَحَقٌّ ۖ وَمَا أَنْتُمْ بِمُعْجِزِينَ |
| Transliteration | : | wa- yastanbi'on -ka 'a- h.aqq huwa qul 'iy wa- rabb -e 'inna -hu la- h.aqq wa- maa 'antum bi- mucjizen |
| Pickthall | : | And they ask thee to inform them (saying): Is it true? Say: Yea, by my Lord, verily it is true, and ye cannot escape. |
| Asad | : | And some people74 ask thee, "Is all this true?" Say: "Yea, by my Sustainer! It is most certainly true, and you cannot elude [the final reckoning]!" |
| Malik | : | They ask you: "Is what you say really true?" Tell them: "Yes! By my Rabb, it is absolutely true! And you will not be able to avert it." |
| Yusuf Ali | : | They seek to be informed by thee: "Is that true?" Say: "Aye! by my Lord! It is the very truth! and ye cannot frustrate it!" |
Note - 74Lit., "they" - i.e., those of the unbelievers who are
wavering in their agnosticism and - as mentioned in
{verse 36} above - "follow nothing but conjecture" (Manar
XI, 394).
