Surah 14. Ibrahim, Ayah 34
| Transliteration | : | wa- 'aataa -kum min kulla-maa sa'altumo -hu wa- 'in tacuddo nicmah 'allaah laa tuh.s.o -haa 'inna al- 'insaan la- z.alom kaffaar |
| Pickthall | : | And He giveth you of all ye ask of Him, and if ye would count the bounty of Allah ye cannot reckon it. Lo! man is verily a wrong-doer, an ingrate. |
| Asad | : | And [always] does He give you something out of what you may be asking of Him;47 and should you try to count God's blessings, you could never compute them. [And yet,] behold, man is indeed most persistent in wrongdoing, stubbornly ingrate! |
| Malik | : | He has given you all that you could ask for and if you want to count the favors of Allah, you will never be able to count them. In fact, man is unjust, thankless. |
| Yusuf Ali | : | And He giveth you of all that ye ask for. But if ye count the favors of Allah never will ye be able to number them: verily man is given up to injustice and ingratitude. 1910 1911 |
