Surah 2. Al-Baqara, Ayah 276



يَمْحَقُ اللَّهُ الرِّبَا وَيُرْبِي الصَّدَقَاتِ ۗ وَاللَّهُ لَا يُحِبُّ كُلَّ كَفَّارٍ أَثِيمٍ


Transliteration : yamh.aq 'allaah ar- ribaa wa- yurbe as.- s.adaqaat wa- 'allaah laa yuh.ibb kull kaffaar 'athem
Pickthall : Allah hath blighted usury and made almsgiving fruitful. Allah loveth not the impious and guilty.
Asad : God deprives usurious gains of all blessing, whereas He blesses charitable deeds with manifold increase.265 And God does not love anyone who is stubbornly ingrate and persists in sinful ways.
Malik : Allah has laid His curse on usury and blessed charity to prosper. Allah does not love any ungrateful sinner.
Yusuf Ali : Allah will deprive usury of all blessing but will give increase for deeds of charity: for He loveth not creatures ungrateful and wicked.
