Surah 2. Al-Baqara, Ayah 276
| يَمْحَقُ اللَّهُ الرِّبَا وَيُرْبِي الصَّدَقَاتِ ۗ وَاللَّهُ لَا يُحِبُّ كُلَّ كَفَّارٍ أَثِيمٍ |
| Transliteration | : | yamh.aq 'allaah ar- ribaa wa- yurbe as.- s.adaqaat wa- 'allaah laa yuh.ibb kull kaffaar 'athem |
| Pickthall | : | Allah hath blighted usury and made almsgiving fruitful. Allah loveth not the impious and guilty. |
| Asad | : | God deprives usurious gains of all blessing, whereas He blesses charitable deeds with manifold increase.265 And God does not love anyone who is stubbornly ingrate and persists in sinful ways. |
| Malik | : | Allah has laid His curse on usury and blessed charity to prosper. Allah does not love any ungrateful sinner. |
| Yusuf Ali | : | Allah will deprive usury of all blessing but will give increase for deeds of charity: for He loveth not creatures ungrateful and wicked. |
