Surah 21. Al-Anbiyaa, Ayah 11
| وَكَمْ قَصَمْنَا مِنْ قَرْيَةٍ كَانَتْ ظَالِمَةً وَأَنْشَأْنَا بَعْدَهَا قَوْمًا آخَرِينَ |
| Asad | : | For, how many a community that persisted in evildoing have We dashed into fragments, and raised another people in its stead!14 |
| Malik | : | How many nations We have destroyed because of their iniquities and replaced them by other nations! |
| Pickthall | : | How many a community that dealt unjustly have We shattered, and raised up after them another folk! |
| Yusuf Ali | : | How many were the populations we utterly destroyed because of their iniquities setting up in their places other peoples! |
| Transliteration | : | wa- kam qas.amnaa min qaryah kaanat z.aalimah wa- ansha'naa bacda -haa qawm(an) 'aakharen |
