Surah 3. Al-i'Imran, Ayah 80

Transliteration : wa- laa ya'mur -kum 'an tattakhidho al- malaa'ikah wa- an- nabeyen arbaab(an) 'a- ya'mur -kum bi- al- kufr bacda 'idh 'antum muslimon
Pickthall : And he commanded you not that ye should take the angels and the Prophets for lords. Would he command you to disbelieve after ye had surrendered (to Allah)?
Asad : And neither did he bid you to take the angels and the prophets for your lords:63 [for] would he bid you to deny the truth after you have surrendered yourselves unto God?
Malik : He would never ask you to take angels and prophets as your lords. Would he ask you to become kafir (unbelievers) after you have become Muslims (believers)?
Yusuf Ali : Nor would he instruct you to take angels and prophets for Lords and Patrons. What! Would he bid you to unbelief after ye have bowed your will (to Allah in Islam)? 415
