Surah 3. Al-i'Imran, Ayah 98
| قُلْ يَا أَهْلَ الْكِتَابِ لِمَ تَكْفُرُونَ بِآيَاتِ اللَّهِ وَاللَّهُ شَهِيدٌ عَلَىٰ مَا تَعْمَلُونَ |
| Transliteration | : | qul yaa 'ahl al- kitaab li- ma(a) takfuron bi- 'aayaat 'allaah wa- 'allaah shahed calaa maa tacmalon |
| Pickthall | : | Say: O People of the Scripture! Why disbelieve ye in the revelations of Allah, when Allah (Himself) is Witness of what ye do? |
| Asad | : | SAY: "O followers of earlier revelation! Why do you refuse to acknowledge the truth of God's messages, when God is witness to all that you do?" |
| Malik | : | Say: "O people of the Book! Why do you deny the revelations of Allah? Allah Himself is a witness to your actions." |
| Yusuf Ali | : | Say: "O people of the Book! why reject ye the signs of Allah when Allah is Himself witness to all ye do? |
