Surah 30. Ar-Rum, Ayah 53
| وَمَا أَنْتَ بِهَادِ الْعُمْيِ عَنْ ضَلَالَتِهِمْ ۖ إِنْ تُسْمِعُ إِلَّا مَنْ يُؤْمِنُ بِآيَاتِنَا فَهُمْ مُسْلِمُونَ |
| Transliteration | : | wa- maa 'anta bi- haadi al- cumyaa can d.alaalah -him 'in tusmic 'illaa man yu'min bi- 'aayaat -naa fa- hum muslimon |
| Pickthall | : | Nor canst thou guide the blind out of their error. Thou canst make none to hear save those who believe in Our revelations so that they surrender (unto Him). |
| Asad | : | just as thou canst not lead the blind [of heart] out of their error: none canst thou make hear [thy call] save such as [are willing to] believe in Our messages, and thus surrender themselves unto Us.47 |
| Malik | : | nor can you guide the blind out of their error. None will hear you save those who believe in Our revelations and submit themselves as Muslims. |
| Yusuf Ali | : | Nor canst thou lead back the blind from their straying: only those wilt thou make to hear who believe in Our Signs and submit (their wills in Islam). 3571 |
