Surah 31. Luqman, Ayah 30
| ذَٰلِكَ بِأَنَّ اللَّهَ هُوَ الْحَقُّ وَأَنَّ مَا يَدْعُونَ مِنْ دُونِهِ الْبَاطِلُ وَأَنَّ اللَّهَ هُوَ الْعَلِيُّ الْكَبِيرُ |
| Transliteration | : | dhaalika bi- 'anna 'allaah huwa al- h.aqq wa- 'anna maa yadcon min doni -hi al- baat.il wa- 'anna 'allaah huwa al- caley al- kaber |
| Pickthall | : | That (is so) because Allah, He is the True, and that which they invoke beside Him is the False, and because Allah, He is the Sublime, the Great. |
| Asad | : | Thus it is, because God alone is the Ultimate Truth,28 so that all that men invoke instead of Him is sheer falsehood; and because God alone is exalted, truly great! |
| Malik | : | This is because Allah is the only Reality and because all those to whom the people invoke besides Him, are false, and because Allah is the One Who is the Most High, the Great. |
| Yusuf Ali | : | That is because Allah is the (only) Reality and because whatever else they invoke besides Him is Falsehood; and because Allah He is the Most High Most Great. 3619 |

complexities, gradations, and nuances, that we find in
Creation, are yet blended in one harmonious whole, that
obeys Law and exemplifies Order. They therefore point to
the One True God. He is the only Eternal Reality.
Anything put up in competition or equality with Him is
only Falsehood. For He is higher and greater than
anything we can imagine.
