Surah 4. An-Nisaa, Ayah 7
| لِلرِّجَالِ نَصِيبٌ مِمَّا تَرَكَ الْوَالِدَانِ وَالْأَقْرَبُونَ وَلِلنِّسَاءِ نَصِيبٌ مِمَّا تَرَكَ الْوَالِدَانِ وَالْأَقْرَبُونَ مِمَّا قَلَّ مِنْهُ أَوْ كَثُرَ ۚ نَصِيبًا مَفْرُوضًا |
| Asad | : | MEN SHALL have a share in what parents and kinsfolk leave behind, and women shall have a share in what parents and kinsfolk leave behind, whether it be little or much - a share ordained [by God]. |
| Malik | : | Men will have a share in what their parents and their near relatives leave; and women will have a share in what their parents and their near relatives leave: whether it be a little or much, they shall be legally entitled to their shares. |
| Pickthall | : | Unto the men (of a family) belongeth a share of that which parents and near kindred leave, and unto the women a share of that which parents and near kindred leave, whether it be little or much a legal share. |
| Yusuf Ali | : | From what is left by parents and those nearest related there is a share for men and a share for women whether the property be small or large a determinate share. 514 |
| Transliteration | : | li- ar- rijaal nas.eb min maa taraka al- waalidaan wa- al- aqrabon wa- li- an- nisaa' nas.eb min maa taraka al- waalidaan wa- al- aqrabon min maa qalla min -hu 'aw kathura nas.eb(an) mafrod.(an) |
