Surah 5. Al-Maida, Ayah 37
| يُرِيدُونَ أَنْ يَخْرُجُوا مِنَ النَّارِ وَمَا هُمْ بِخَارِجِينَ مِنْهَا ۖ وَلَهُمْ عَذَابٌ مُقِيمٌ |
| Transliteration | : | 'illaa 'alladhena taabo min qabli 'an taqdiro calay -him fa- iclamo 'anna 'allaah ghafor rah.em |
| Pickthall | : | They will wish to come forth from the Fire, but they will not come forth from it. Theirs will be a lasting doom. |
| Asad | : | They will wish to come out of the fire, but they shall not come out of it; and long-lasting suffering awaits them. |
| Malik | : | They will desire to get out of the fire but will not be able to do so and they shall have an everlasting punishment. |
| Yusuf Ali | : | Their wish will be to get out of the fire but never will they get out therefrom: their penalty will be one that endures. |
