Surah 6. Al-An'am, Ayah 111
| Transliteration | : | wa- law 'inna -naa nazzalnaa 'ilay -him al- malaa'ikah wa- kallama -hum al- mawtaa wa- h.asharnaa calay -him kull shay' qubul(an) maa kaano li- yu'mino 'illaa 'an yashaa' 'allaah wa- laakin akthar -hum yajhalon |
| Pickthall | : | And though We should send down the angels unto them, and the dead should speak unto them, and We should gather against them all things in array, they would not believe unless Allah so willed. Howbeit, most of them are ignorant. |
| Asad | : | And even if We were to send down angels unto them, and if the dead were to speak unto them,96 and [even if] We were to assemble before them, face to face, all the things [that can prove the truth], they would still not believe unless God so willed.97 But [of this] most of them are entirely unaware. |
| Malik | : | Even if We had sent to them the angels, made the dead speak to them, and presented all the different things of the world before them as proof, they would have not believed, unless Allah wanted otherwise (and forcing someone to believe is not what He wants): Yet most of them act out of ignorance. |
| Yusuf Ali | : | Even if We did send unto them angels and the dead did speak unto them and We gathered together all things before their very eyes they are not the ones to believe unless it is in Allah's Plan: but most of them ignore (the truth). 940 |
