Surah 6. Al-An'am, Ayah 135
| قُلْ يَا قَوْمِ اعْمَلُوا عَلَىٰ مَكَانَتِكُمْ إِنِّي عَامِلٌ ۖ فَسَوْفَ تَعْلَمُونَ مَنْ تَكُونُ لَهُ عَاقِبَةُ الدَّارِ ۗ إِنَّهُ لَا يُفْلِحُ الظَّالِمُونَ |
| Transliteration | : | qul yaa qawm -e icmalo calaa makaanah -kum 'inni -y caamil fa- sawfa taclamon man takon la- -hu caaqibah ad- daar 'inna -hu laa yuflih. az.- z.aalimon |
| Pickthall | : | Say (O Muhammad) : O my people! Work according to your power. Lo! I too am working. Thus ye will come to know for which of us will be the happy sequel. Lo! the wrong- doers will not be successful. |
| Asad | : | Say: "O my [unbelieving] people! Do yet all that may be within your power, [while] I, behold, shall labour [in God's way]; and in time you will come to know to whom the future belongs.118 Verily, never will evildoers attain to a happy state!" |
| Malik | : | O Muhammad, tell them: "O my people! If you don't listen to me, do whatever you want and I'll do whatever I deem right; you will soon find out who is to gain the reward of the hereafter; rest assured that the wrongdoers will not get salvation." |
| Yusuf Ali | : | Say: "O my people! do whatever ye can: I will do (my part): soon will ye know who it is whose end will be (best) in the Hereafter: certain it is that the wrong-doers will not prosper." 957 |
