Surah 6. Al-An'am, Ayah 26
| وَهُمْ يَنْهَوْنَ عَنْهُ وَيَنْأَوْنَ عَنْهُ ۖ وَإِنْ يُهْلِكُونَ إِلَّا أَنْفُسَهُمْ وَمَا يَشْعُرُونَ |
| Transliteration | : | wa- hum yanhawn can -hu wa- yan'awn can -hu wa- 'in yuhlikon 'illaa anfus -hum wa- maa yashcuron |
| Pickthall | : | And they forbid (men) from it and avoid it, and they ruin none save themselves, though they perceive not. |
| Asad | : | And they bar others therefrom, and go far away from it: but they destroy none but themselves, and perceive it not. |
| Malik | : | They themselves have turned away from the truth and also forbid other people to believe in it. With such a behavior they harm none but their own souls but they do not perceive it. |
| Yusuf Ali | : | Others they keep away from it and themselves they keep away; but they only destroy their own souls and they perceive it not. |
