Surah 62. Al-Jamu'a, Ayah 8
| قُلْ إِنَّ الْمَوْتَ الَّذِي تَفِرُّونَ مِنْهُ فَإِنَّهُ مُلَاقِيكُمْ ۖ ثُمَّ تُرَدُّونَ إِلَىٰ عَالِمِ الْغَيْبِ وَالشَّهَادَةِ فَيُنَبِّئُكُمْ بِمَا كُنْتُمْ تَعْمَلُونَ |
| Transliteration | : | qul 'inna al- mawt 'alladhe tafirron min -hu fa- 'inna -hu mulaaqe -kum thumma turaddon 'ilaa caalim al- ghayb wa- ash- shahaadah fa- yunabbi' -kum bi- maa kuntum tacmalon |
| Pickthall | : | Say (unto them, O Muhammad): Lo! the death from which ye shrink will surely meet you, and afterward ye will be returned unto the Knower of the invisible and the visible, and He will tell you what ye used to do. |
| Asad | : | Say: "Behold, the death from which you are fleeing8 is bound to overtake you - and then you will be brought back unto Him who knows all that is beyond the reach of a created being's perception as well as all that can be witnessed by a creature's senses or mind,9 whereupon He will make you truly understand all that you were doing [in life]. |
| Malik | : | Tell them: "The death from which you are running away, will surely overtake you: then you will be sent back to Him Who knows the unseen and the seen; and He will tell you all that you have been doing." |
| Yusuf Ali | : | Say " The Death from which ye flee will truly overtake you: then will ye be sent back to the Knower of things secret and open: and He will tell you (the truth of) the things that ye did!" 5460 |
