Surah 66. At-Tahrim, Ayah 8
| يَا أَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا تُوبُوا إِلَى اللَّهِ تَوْبَةً نَصُوحًا عَسَىٰ رَبُّكُمْ أَنْ يُكَفِّرَ عَنْكُمْ سَيِّئَاتِكُمْ وَيُدْخِلَكُمْ جَنَّاتٍ تَجْرِي مِنْ تَحْتِهَا الْأَنْهَارُ يَوْمَ لَا يُخْزِي اللَّهُ النَّبِيَّ وَالَّذِينَ آمَنُوا مَعَهُ ۖ نُورُهُمْ يَسْعَىٰ بَيْنَ أَيْدِيهِمْ وَبِأَيْمَانِهِمْ يَقُولُونَ رَبَّنَا أَتْمِمْ لَنَا نُورَنَا وَاغْفِرْ لَنَا ۖ إِنَّكَ عَلَىٰ كُلِّ شَيْءٍ قَدِيرٌ |
| Transliteration | : | yaa 'ayyuhaa 'alladhena 'aamano tobo 'ilaa 'allaah tawbah nas.oh.(an) casaa rabb -kum 'an yukaffir can -kum sayyi'aat -kum wa- yudkhil -kum jannaat tajre min tah.ta -haa al- anhaar yawm laa yukhze 'allaah an- nabey wa- 'alladhena 'aamano maca -hu nor -hum yascaa bayna ayde -him wa- bi- aymaan -him yaqolon rabb -naa atmim la- -naa nor -naa wa- ighfir la- -naa 'inna -ka calaa kull shay' qader |
| Pickthall | : | O ye who believe! Turn unto Allah in sincere repentance! It may be that your Lord will remit from you your evil deeds and bring you into Gardens underneath which rivers flow, on the day when Allah will not abase the Prophet and those who believe with him. Their light will run before them and on their right hands: they will say: Our Lord! Perfect our light for us, and forgive us! Lo! Thou art Able to do all things. |
| Asad | : | O you who have attained to faith! Turn unto God in sincere repentance:16 it may well be that your Sustainer will efface from you your bad deeds, and will admit you into gardens through which running waters flow, on a Day on which God will not shame the Prophet and those who share his faith:17 their light will spread rapidly before them, and on their right;18 [and] they will pray: "O our Sustainer! Cause this our light to shine for us forever,19 and forgive us our sins: for, verily, Thou hast the power to will anything!" |
| Malik | : | O believers! Turn to Allah in sincere repentance. It may well be that your Rabb will remove from you your sins and admit you to gardens beneath which rivers flow. On that Day Allah will not humiliate the Prophet and those who believe with him. Their light will shine in front of them and on their right, and they will say: "Our Rabb! Perfect our light for us and grant us forgiveness, for You have power over all things." |
| Yusuf Ali | : | O ye who believe! turn to Allah with sincere repentance: in the hope that your Lord will remove from you your ills and admit you to Gardens beneath which Rivers flow the Day that Allah will not permit to be humiliated the Prophet and those who believe with him. Their Light will run forward before them and by their right hands while they say "Our Lord! perfect our Light for us and grant us Forgiveness; for Thou has power over all things." 5542 5543 5544 |
