Surah 91. Ash-Shams, Ayah 10
| وَقَدْ خَابَ مَنْ دَسَّاهَا |
| Transliteration | : | wa- qad khaaba man dassaa -haa |
| Pickthall | : | And he is indeed a failure who stunteth it. |
| Asad | : | and truly lost is he who buries it [in darkness]. |
| Malik | : | and indeed failure will be the one who corrupts it! |
| Yusuf Ali | : | And he fails that corrupts it! 6153 |
Note - 6153This is the core of the Sura, and it is illustrated by a
reference to the story of the Thamud in the following
verses.
